Description
The successful candidate:
- Production of accurate management accounts adhering to strict monthly deadlines (inc P&L, B/S, Cashflow).
- To work closely with the Business Partner to develop an understanding of the business and use the knowledge in the preparation of management accounts and reporting.
- Assist the Business Partner with the merchant invoicing process, Direct Debit collection and production of KPI’s & reports.
- Analysis and commentary on financial matters both on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
- Involved in the production of year end Statutory Accounts and audit.
- Completing and compiling VAT returns.
- Responsible for the management and maintenance of well-maintained and supported ledgers.
- Looking after the day-to-day transactional processing to cover both sales and purchase ledger and credit control, banking and nominal ledger maintenance.
Profile
The successful candidate MUST:
- Have experience in a similar role – Essential
- Be studying towards ACCA/CIMA – Essential
- Have excellent organisation and communication skills – Essential
- Be looking to progress and take on additional responsibilities as the role grows – Essential
- Have a proactive and can do attitude and the ability to work in a fast paced environment – Essential
