The Client: 

Our client is renown known for their fine dining restaurants. Designed as a haven of curated luxury, the restaurant offers an immersive culinary experience unlike any other. They are seeking a General Manager to lead the opening of this prestigious dining concept and craft a truly exceptional gastronomic journey for its guests.

The General Manager Role:

Responsible for overseeing all operations of the Venue to drive performance, profitability, service excellence and guest satisfaction. Key responsibilities include fostering a positive and productive work environment focused on team development, delivering high standards of guest services, and ensuring each guest experience aligns with our clients commitment to excellence and attentive services. The General Manager will develop and implement the Venue’s strategic business plan, ensuring alignment with our clients brand objectives, core values, and annual goals.

The Person:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Venue, ensuring service excellence and efficient operations.
  • Demonstrate and promote ethical behaviors and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and legal requirements, as well as adherence to company policies.
  • Establish and maintain effective internal controls and management information systems to support operational efficiency and to conduct its activities lawfully and ethically.
  • Implement and monitor the venue’s standard operating procedures to maintain consistency and quality in guest services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, landlords, business partners, and local authorities, ensuring alignment with our clients strategic objectives and long-term success.
  • Proactively identify and assess potential risks, implement crisis management protocols, and ensure the team is prepared to handle emergencies, including operational disruptions, guest safety incidents, and reputational risks.
  • Leverage technology and data-driven insights to enhance operational efficiency, optimize guest experiences, and drive revenue growth through digital innovations, automation, and advanced reservation and CRM systems.

They are looking for people with:

  • BA / master’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Extensive experience in hospitality management, with a minimum 10 years in leadership role, preferably within the F&B or luxury hospitality sectors.
  • Proven track record in leading, developing, and motivating teams with a focus on fostering a positive work environment and maintaining high standards in guest services.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, inventory control, and compliance in F&B and hospitality operations.
  • Experience in developing and executing strategies to drive growth, profitability and brand value.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills to effectively evaluate alternatives and provide recommendations on business issues.
  • Excellent management and leadership skills.
