Our client is a growing accountancy firm in Lancashire with multiple offices. They offer a comprehensive range of accounting, audit, corporate finance, tax planning, and business advisory services with a focus on building long-term client relationships.

Description

  • Client leadership – Managing a portfolio of audit clients, maintaining strong client relationships, and acting as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders
  • Technical oversight – Ensuring all audit work meets professional standards, reviewing complex technical issues, and providing final quality review of audit files
  • Team management – Leading, developing, and mentoring audit managers and their teams, including performance evaluations and career progression
  • Risk management – Identifying and addressing audit risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing quality control procedures
  • Business development – Contributing to practice growth through identifying new opportunities, participating in proposals, and cross-selling additional services
  • Strategic input – Contributing to the firm’s audit strategy, methodology improvements, and implementation of new audit technologies
  • Financial management – Monitoring engagement profitability, managing resource allocation, and ensuring timely billing and collection
  • Regulatory responsibilities – Acting as a Responsible Individual (RI) signing audit reports and maintaining appropriate professional skepticism and independence
  • Market presence – Representing the firm at events, building networks, and enhancing the firm’s market reputation through thought leadership
  • Innovation – Driving adoption of new audit approaches, technologies, and methodologies to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness
