Michael Page Finance are recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join a well established business in Stoke on Trent. I am looking for someone who is AAT/ACCA/CIMA studier, with knowledge of working in a varied finance role.

Description
As an Assistant Accountant, you will report into the Finance Manager, responsible for assisting with the preparation of month end reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: producing and developing operational reports; periodic and ad hoc analysis; KPI analysis; analyse operational data; assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts; producing weekly accounts; performance analysis; balance sheet reconciliations.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
– Be studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA – or have equivalent experience – Essential
– Have excellent verbal and written communication skills – Essential
– Have knowledge of working in a varied finance role – Essential
– Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel – Essential
